Ultimate Crash Chicken Congee (Low Histamine, No Chew)
Ingredients:
chicken Maryland X4
1 cup of medium grain rice
carrots X2
Pumpkin a piece
Sweet potato 1 small
Ginger 6cm
Onion X2
Broccoli X2 small heads
Spring onion
Coriander
Methods:
-Cook chicken stock with all Maryland together for a concentrated stock. Add in 2 onion and ginger after it comes to boil.
-Remove 1 Maryland out after itβs just cooked to be use and added back into porridge later.
Shred the chicken and dice it into small pieces for final touch.
- Dice carrots, Sweet potatoes, pumpkin and the roots of the broccoli.
-wash broccoli flower head throughly, and cut into small pieces.
-when chicken stock is ready, separate 1/2 cup into a separate pot together with the diced vegetables. Bring it to boil for 20 minutes before adding the rice in.
Add in chicken stock slowly 1 big scoop at a time allowing the rice to cook and for rice to absorb chicken stock.
-when the rice is fully cooked, have a little not a lot of stock in. ( as you want to retain a thick consistency )
-blend the cook porridge. And add in the diced broccoli head stir it through. Follow by the diced chicken.
-coriander to garnish.
Spring onion oil
-finely diced the spring onion, heat up 100ml oil to just boil. And pour over spring onion.
